Help!! Need new axles and motor mounts. Turbo street integra
Well to sum it up recently i broke my axle on my 97 teg gsr. Not completely in half, thank god, but enough to not be able to drive over 30 mph because of crazy shaking like the wheel was about to fall off. Driver side axle looked f*cked but passenger looked fine.
Now combine that with my shitty stock motor mounts that are on their last leg. When the car is parked i can push the motor and it moves a good inch or 2. I also had a friend start the car with the hood open and it moves alot. I'm surprised i don't have dents in my hood. It has gotten so bad that while driving the shifter moves around alot like the transmission it very loose and the car is really jerky.
Someone said that i can get a Napa or Pepboys axle with lifetime warrenty for cheap. I don't run the car on slicks so i don't need some $1,000 race axle. Would those alxes be ok?
Now i have no idea what to do about mounts. This is my street car but i don't care about vibration. I want to get the poly-urathene(???) inserts but will just these fix my problem? I think only my rear mount is busted. What should i look for when trying to find a broken mount. Do i need to replace the whole mount or just inserts? I'm pretty clueless about motor mounts so fill me in. Thanks!

There are a couple of different options out there for you on the axles... one of which is to stay with the autozone-type axles, which a lot of people are running... The option i went with in my own car, is this:

I'm ran the Stage 2's in my car. (12.08 @ 117 on 24.5x8x13 slicks)

I run the autozone lifetimes myself and they hold up pretty well. I run the slicks and have only replaced one set so far.
As far as mounts, I would recommend the Hasport rear mount, and the Energy suspension sides. Should be plenty of hold and the vibration isn't too bad.
Good Luck!

get the autozone axles. theyll last forever on the street trust me. also if you need inserts PM me. i'll get you a set from Fitz who is local. that what i run in my street car and the engine doesnt move!!!
you guys are quick, thanks
I'm pretty set on the autozone axles but still confused on the mounts. I don't really wanna spend alot of money on a full set of new mounts. i'm a baller on a budget

gck brand from advanced auto parts.when you launch, there is a distance between the floor and where the clutch actually engages.pull your foot out to right before it engages and let it follow your foot up when you launch(don't just pop it) and they will not break

had the same problem with my mounts and i bought hasport rear drag mount and stock used side ones in good cond. engine barely moves and throttle response feels instant. entire car feels alot more solid too. around 130 for the rear mount.
