general q's about b16 in ek hatch...
so i have had my swap for about 3 months now. all along i have been running it with CEL because of my secondary o2 not being there. could i have caused any damage by doing this? is there any way it could be running lean? i just but an exhaust(kteller 2.5" with magnaflow cat and straight thru muffler) snd have since noticed what seems to be less power. then last week i washed down the motor and noticed some bogging down but then went away. something just doesn't feel right...any ideas where to start looking?
well with a cel on ive noticed that the engine will put itself in safe mode and richen itself, or retatd itself... something like that. there is no damage, just a slight power loss.
fix the CEL first....
all you have to do is go to a muffler shop and have them put an o2 bung on your cat or your high flow cat.....or buy a cat with a second o2 hole....which i have...im if you are interested....

yeah... i think your right on that one. i know my knock sensor problem did that.

i had the o2 bung added but i am a little nervous about the actual wiring. anyone know a good place for reliable pinouts for an 00 b16? also if anyone has done this where did you run the wiring? the si's have a hole in the floor board right near the shifter but i do not think my cx hatch has that hole...i'm thinking somewhere in the firewall...will the length of the wire effect the signal at all?
