What to do w/ $1400 on a 4th generation Prelude?
I've got $1400 to play with so what would you guys suggest? The more I've been thinking about it the more I'm wondering if I should mess w/ the engine a lot more than messing with the body... So far this is what I have (not much, & what I do have is basic appearance & BS)... intake, exhaust, clear-outs, altezzas, tinted windows, rims... I think that sums it up. Definitely getting a paint job though - car is way overdue! What do you guys think?
your going to need more then 1400 to do that... try losing the altezzas and save that money for something more useful
is it a vtec model?

open your hood for one. then look at the block stamp, near where the tranny and block meet on "front" of the motor facing you as you pop the hood. (conventionally speaking its the side).
It'll say F or H followed my 22 or 23.

is there some kind of key to lowering a car cuz B/F has an accord that had lowering springs when we got it & it shook like hell and then we replaced those w/ adj. coilovers & now it bounces like a trampoline... so what's the trick?

i say you build a custom turbo for it...is your car, DO whatever YOU want to do. How about a nice H22A in there.
Seriously, that is what I'm researching right now... I hadn't seriously thought about switching the engine, I had played w/ the idea a long time ago when I first got the car, and maybe now, I'll just save up a little more money & actually do it...
dude, that sounds like a good idea but youre going to need ALOT more money than 1400, my friend put a gsr engine in his civic installed it cost him right around 7000, but thats a much more difficult swap than what youre talking bout, but still it will be around there.
