Default what are the positives of putting accord struts in the front

can anyone tell me the positives of putting accord struts on the front of my crx, and also is there any negatives? i am just kinda confused, is it just to be able to lower your car more and get the better ride. i have my car lowered to where i want it. i just want to know if putting the accord shocks will make a difference, can someone just tell me why people are doing it

i did it, you just get another inch or so of suspension travel, meaning if you have ever gone over a large bump, maybe some train tracks and your car bottoms out and sounds like it going to fall apart that wont happen anymore.

personally i love it. i dont think im ever going to buy crx struts again. feels alot better.

if you just want the lowered look with a good ride then the accord struts are the ****

1" extra travel does wonders on slammed crx's

I did it and everyone is right it works amazing. I'm completely slammed in the front with accord gr-2 kyb struts and I have lots of travel left. Also keep this in mind though just putting them on lowers your car another .5-1 inches in the front.

Yeah I did the 86-89 accord tokiko "I got's the poopy blues" too...
Only on really big bumps do I feel the suspensino bottom out w/H&R race springs.

As far as comparing, I haven't since I trusted people's advice with them.

but, like stated above, doesn't thie make the front of the car a lot lower than the rear? Or is this setup only good for coilover setups?

Read the two threads up there. They state that the front will be lower.

Dude I don't remember how much those who compared them said it lowered them extra, but it's not like you feel like it's leanin forward or any thing. My friend w/sleeves (car came w/them) hates his and is going to do the same setup.

I wish I had adj. shocks though. The b16 could use some for the weight.

yes, i see that...but don't you want your car planted at the same height all around? Yes, you get extra shock travel but i dont see anything but negative effects from having your front end and inch lower...especially under heavy braking.
