Default 97 HX wheels

I have some 22lbs motegi mr7 wheels on my car now with a stock ZC. It seems really sugglish with these wheels. I have a set of HX wheels with no tires and was wondering how good of a wheel these are? I know their really light (11lbs?). Whats the best tire on could put on this 14" wheel while still keeping cost in mind. This will be on my daily driver. I'm looking for handling here really, but are the HX wheels good for that or should I be looking for some 15s.

oh yea. I'm rocking neuspeed race springs on bilstein struts.

hey whats up man i just bought some falken azenis for my hx wheels. they were 120 mounted and balanced, and they do pretty good and good traction. i have a b16 in my rex. it just depends on what you want. the only size they make in 14's are 195/60/14 and i am pretty sure if you move up to a 15'' wheel they make a 195/50/15 that would prolly handle alittle better and those should be around the price of 70 each mounted and everything. hope i could help you

keep the hx wheels!!! i love them, they're light and relatively wide. as far as tires go i love Pirelli's (spelling?). My friend uses those rims on his Autocross car, and they're great

I have hx wheels on my hatch right now too. and i love them. they're about 5 lbs lighter wheel and tire on each wheel. so I did notice quite a bit of difference in acceleration. I've only had them for a little while now, but I love them.
