Difference between ITR and 99+ Si tranny?

Besides the LSD what, if any, are the differences?

nothing. One has lsd, the other does not.

they actually have a dffrent final drive gear...same size, but the bolts dont line up.

ask anyone who has installed a CTR/ITR LSD on an S4 (USDM B16A2 tranny)...they had to change the FD gear.

other than the final drive gear and LSD...exactally the same.

true. Recently, when I put the 4.78 final drive into my 99Si tranny, needed GSR or ITR diff, luckily found an ITR LSD for sale cheap

R tranny has dual 2nd gear syncros, whereas the Si tranny just has one syncro.
