Default Turbo has no acceleration power; please help......

Just put in my Drag turbo kit...got everything it seem to install correctly as I double check it..When I start up the car, it idle fine and very smooth.
But when I take it to the test drive, I give it some gas I cant accelerate hard, the power band just drop down...example (like some one cover the exhaust gas and let go) the car just loosing power then pick up then loose then pick up....

Could anyone help me out what is the problem behind this...was it the wastegate because it like releasing the air out after 2500rpm or something...If that the problem you think, you know how I can fix this or control the wastegate cause I dont have any manual on me...

Thanks preciated for the help.....

first check your map sensor are you running the stock map with no difuser or check valves.

second check your intercooler piping

third make sure you vacuum lines connected correctly.

I am pretty sure its number 1 though

Hi b18 thanks for the replies...
Yeah I got the check valves..At first I got 3 check valves then I call turbo tech and they tell me to put in the 4th..so I did..runs little bit better but still the same...
My second prediction was the wastegate cause I heard little bit of air release out of the engine.. Was that be it? was it releasing air out and cant get anypower?....

one more question...was the fuel pump suppost to make loud sound while driving or when I put the key on position, the high pressure pump make an incredible crazy loud sound ...

also you need to check the wiring on the pump if oyu have the polarity backwareds it will mess with your mind for hte longest time. Also ditch the check valves and get a synapse map difuser.

If it's a aftermarket high flow fuel pump...that's normal for it to be loud..external or intank pump ? either way there going to be a lot louder than stock pump.

Yes what are you doing for fuel management my guess is its detonation, get the car DYNO tuned before driving it. Or else kiss your engine goodbye.
