Interior Pics..
Anyone have pics to post of their interior... if you did anything to change it from stock. I am curious to know what some of you did. Whether it be JDM stuff, dash kits, etc...
Thanks,
Jon

yeah, really!
i guess i did a better job of taking that pic than i thought . . .
D - the civic si head unit is there because the stock head unit is a pile of crap. the si head unit not only sounds better, but it has a huge amount of bass and treble control. plus, it looks stock.
the recaro doesn't sit high - well, the seat-back is taller than stock, but the seat sits about the same height as stock. hopefully my new vision rails will be here next week!

D,
actually, the si head unit is made by alpine, and is amber as well! the stock R head unit is made by panasonic, so the pinouts are not identical - i had to go to a stereo shop and get two harnesses, which cost me about $30.
i replaced all of the speakers as well, with infinity kappas. the combo between the kappas and the si cd player (same combo i had in my old si) is excellent . . . that was one of the main reasons i swapped it out.
but, with my new thermal, i can't hear the damn stereo anyway . . .

thought i'd add my dash with some lame *** useless autometer gauges.

not quite up to date either, missing cruise control buttons on steering wheel and moonroof switch.

no, no, no . . . that's not why i got it. my recaro SRD was intruding on the center console, so i removed the center console altogether (i also happened to be putting my si cd player in at the same time, so that was partly why i removed it).
while re-assembling, i just didn't put the center console back in, and drove like that for a week or so. i really liked not having the center console - shifting felt a lot more, um, 'free'. so, i ordered one up from mike @ ips racing, and now it looks stock, and my recaro fits perfectly.

Do you miss your arm rest?
Do you miss your arm rest?
I replaced my head with an Alpine unit, with buttons and display that perfectly match the amber. Gives it a nice Knight-Rider kind of look
Got any pics of yer head unit when its on with the lights lit up? What model is it? Night rider is tiiiight
