What do your insurance papers say?

In light of the recent postings about ITR's getting stolen, and insurance reimbs, I thought I would post this and see if any of you have the same thing. My insurance papers do not directly state Type R. It obviously says Acura Int. 99, but has some combination of letters after that includes a G, (not GSR) but does not say Type R. Now the insurance company (and the papers for that matter) have the correct VIN number, and the insurance company also has a copy of my bill of sale indicating all the info about the car, as well as my purchase price. Anyone else in the same situation? Or does everyone elses papers directly indicate "Type R"
thanks
thanks
When I first got my car, it didn't mention any model designation. After the first update, the "Type R" appeared with a performance increase !

Mine says GSR - but the VIN is on there.
I was concerned when I got my card - like they were doing something wrong... But when I called them, they didn't have a designation for a type R. And they reassured me that the VIN is what's important on the insurance.

Cool...seems to be no general standard of what is listed. Im not counting on my car getting jacked, however, in the event that it does, as long as my insurance company doesnt come back with compensation equalling the value of a GSR, I dont care what they write on my damn card.
I forgot more about hondas then you will ever know....

i don't understand, mine says civic....oh, wait, i have a hybrid....oops!
for the past three years mine was listed as an Integra GS. On this past renewal, it changed to Integra TY.
I've no insurance.....(j/k)
I think as long as the VIN# is correct you should be fine.......
anyway, I just keep all the paper include the bill of sale and the window sticker just in case
my insurance company don't think I have a Type-R !!
