anyone upgraded throttle body on d-series
has anyone upgraded their throttle body on their d-series and if so what kind of improvements did u notice, is it worth doing

just put a bseries tbody on my d16z....huge improvements...i aalso hogged out the intake manifold to match the 64 mm diameter

the reason i was askin was because i found a gsr throttle body and the guy says it will match up to a d-series and i was just makin sure it will fit without any modification.

I have a 68mm STR and I bored out the IM to match. Works nice. 
Very big throttle body and it eliminates the cold start circuit. That is not needed here because of the hot climate. I had to bore the IM quite a bit to match. The stock IM doesn't have much room for porting past 70mm.
