Default Brake pads

What kind of brake pads are you all running on your S2000's and where did you get them? I found about a million different people that want to sell me a million different brake pads for my Civic, but not much at all when it comes to the s2k. I found spoon pads that seemed really good, but I don't want to part with the $150 a pair asking price.

All the track pads worth anything are about $150 or more. I have used the Pagid's (King) and the Cobalt (gtr) and I prefer the Cobalt's. Once they are heated up LOOK OUT!!! These are track pads only and I would not recommend them for autocross or street use.

Ya, I'm looking for street and autocross use. I used aem/nissin pads for my civic and theywere great, but they don't seem to have a fitment for the s2k.

Some very popular pads are Panther plus which is made by carbotech and R4S pads made by Porterfield. If you want a bigger brake kit that will fit the stock wheels my friend Docofmind from s2ki.com created a wilwood kit both 4 piston and 6 piston that will clear stock wheels.

are the stock brakes not good enough for you? i know the pads themselves suck as i have cooked a set to the point of crumbling. but that was doing a track session which is usually alot harder on brakes than auto-x.

The stock brakes are very impressive I think. I don't really like the OEM pads, and they're about gone so thats all I'm looking to replace. However, when I have the money I'll definitely get a better braking system, but thats not very high up on my list of things to buy.
