Should I add "Want to buy JDM Type R Ninja Combat Style Fast and Furious and More Furious" to this post and maybe I get a response?

Nah thanks, but thanks for the offer. I cant rationalize spending over 40 bucks on one of these things, intakes are about the biggest rip off out there. Im probably going to lean towards ebay, but I want an intake that has a sufficient mounting bracket. Ive gone through two AEM CAI's, neither one fit correctly, and both have had breakage issues...

FYI - the short ram that i got for $15 on ebay did come with bracketry. i didn't use any of it, because it doesn't really move much without it, and i doubt the gsr bracketry they included would work in my EK.

really - the bracketry shouldn't be an issue.

if you really are worried about it, you can go to any home improvement store and buy materials to make your own bracketry.

Just make your own bracket with aluminum and JB Weld.

You can get it to fit however you want, and use whatever mounting point you want.

I don't mean metal straps, I mean actual aluminum straps (1/6" or so). JB weld it to the pipe, then just respray it.
