Default ****Squeling from driver-side wheel/brakes?

well this is for a 93 accord.
This morning i was driving it and started to hear this LOUD craping/squeling noise. NOT when BRAKEING mostly when the car is just moving at 15+mph

my brother inlaw said his 95 accord made a similar noise right before his balljoint went out in him while driving!

I just wanna know whats wrong with it before somthing bad happens.

you need new brake pads, it is the metal indicator rubbing on the rotor to indicate that you need new brakes

I just replaced them about 3months ago... maybe 6-7,000 miles max.

Yes it does sound like that scraping soud..... i had that on the rear brake pads last year. but why would only one side make noise when i reaplaced the pads at the same time?

Up because I have a similar problem. Took off the dustshield and caliper recently, still having problem. Its squeaking at all speeds randomly on/off sometimes. During any level of braking it goes away, then returns after off the brakes.

ditto bro. I couldn't figure it out so I took it to the dealership to look at it and inspect the balljoints.
The charges me $37, and couldn't find anything out of the normal. They only stated that my driver side strut was sitting slightly off. and that my springs were green

Did you go with a different kind of pads than what was on there?

Some aftermarket pads make some squeling noise. That the same thing that happened with mine so i replaced it with oem brake pads or nissin. after that, the noise are gone.

no this is for the family accord. I just got some pads at NAPA auto for my particular make and model. Also when with the premium stuff over the economy brand of pads.

well...if it happens when your not braking i wouldnt think it has anything to do with pads....unless your brake calipers arent disengaging the rotor properly. wheel bearings perhaps?
