Default ? About fuel

Ok i just had engine work done to my car, p&p a6 head, regrind cam, cam gear, new belts and new h2o pump. also have other perf. mods and now my car EATS gas. i kno it should but is there anything i can do that should make it eat less gas then its doin?
mechanic said i need new spark plug wires....ngk, will this help
will new spark plugs help also?
anything suggestions will help, thanks.

Sounds like your foot could use some weight reduction.

Nah, plug wires may help, but i doubt it'll be a lot. wnytime you increase the flow, your gonna use some fuel up.

EDIT: Or actually it could help gas mileage because your using up all the gas that's coming in....nevermind.
