New wheels (Die 56k)
Well I decided it was time for new wheels (UKDM's are going to a good home). After looking around and going back and forth on how much to spend I decided to go for a more reasonably priced wheel this time around. I'd thought about maybe looking for some used Kosei K1's but I think I found the next best thing, 5Zigen FN01R-C. Light and hopefully strong cast wheel, fairly cheap, and good looking. According to my bathroom scale (which is probably off a couple pounds) they came in at a slim 12.5 lbs each! Also had the opportunity to get the car weighed this weekend, it came in at a sorda slim 2480lbs (3/4 tank of gas).
Here's the pics, enjoy guys!
Dope pic of Ferrel's car:
Only bad thing is with 215/45 Azenis wheels are rubbing a bit at low speeds over uneven pavement, guess I'll be raising the car a bit

Thanks for the compliments guys, here are some answers to your questions:
- I got the wheels from http://www.wheelmax.com for $790 shipped, pretty reasonable huh?
- The wheels are 16x7 +42mm offset w/ 215/45/16 Azenis.
- The lugs are my factory lugs, they're tapered lugs so I assumed they'd be okay. Was I wrong?
Oh yeah, you can find some UKDM pics here: http://www.bustedshocks.com/Misc/Perfect/

Thanks guys.
As for the lugs, I was looking here: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels...s.htm
To me the stock lugs look to be conical/tapered so I would assume they'd work. Wrong? Ahhh fugg it, new lugs ordered

factory lug nuts are tapered, but if you have nice wheels, you could damage them with airgun..
i'd recommend to use a lug nuts that require an extension/key - gives more protection agains airgun

Oh,
I HATE that. They tell me:
One rim: 182 USD.
Shipping for one rim: 138,50 USD..
Add tax and duty and that wheel is fckn expensive.....
I am so tired of driving a japanese permormance car in the middle of Europe...

my stock lugs are the ball/radius type. maybe the previous owner changed the lugs on the car? what type of wheels did you have previously? maybe they required a tapered lug.... or he was using the wrong type?
In any case, I believe the lugs you now need are conical/tapered for the new wheels. good luck.. looks nice
