Anyone have a picture of a del Sol with SKUNK2 exhaust?

Also, hows it sounds and what are the gains.

never seen it on a del sol. i was just reading in the ITR forum that they are loud as hell, but supposedly they give you great throttle response and midrange power, so i guess if sound isn't an issue...

 

It's only loud when you floor it..If you drive with light throttle it's just a nice deep tone..Even less than the Remus I had on my old hatch

ive got a pic or two. we have it on my chicks ride. but its super loud. especially running a test pipe.

 

It sounds great, gains are pretty much the same as any exhaust with a cat back, straight through muffler design. Everyone has their own idea of whats loud, and whats quiet. I don't think it's too loud at all.

 

it gets loud but it isn't raspy like the n1 its very deep and nice sounding its not that baaaaaaaa that were all use to with 4 bangers its just a baaaa at low rpm's but i love mine

 

Awesome! I justed ordered the SKUNK2 catback system last night for my sol. Its suppose to be here Friday. I'll take pics for everyone. I cant wait!!

i have it on my car and i love it the cops dont but who cares dont ever put the silencer in it it sounds like **** it will get deeper after like a month

 

does anyone have a sound clip of this exhaust on thier car? i would like to hear how it sounds

Exactly. With a testpipe it will be loud. I've heard the Skunk2 on an RSX-S and an ITR. It sounded good. Deep and smooth.. Seems to be a very nice exhaust..

LOUD. Very loud.

I've heard a shiload of exhausts, with and without test pipes. If its loud, it just gets annoying. One of my friends has it on his hatch, and driving NEXT to him on the highway was giving me a headache.

Ive installed Apexi WS, GReddy SP and EVO, RSR, Comptech and Magnaflow. The World Sport, Comptech and RSR are easliy my favorites, look good, good price, and QUIET.

 

today i saw an rsx with a comptech exhaust and it's definately noticable it's not loud but it's not quiet either, it has a nice low tone I wish comptech made and exhaust for the eg's

 

I have a 94 Sol and I put a skunk 2 exhaust on about 3 weeks ago. I love it. good sounding. I would highly recommend!!!

hands down, i think the skunk2 cat-back exhaust is the best exhaust system for a del sol. and like the other's said, it's only loud if you floor it, but at normal driving it has a nice deep throaty sound to it. i'd get if i weren't already doing custom exhaust for my del sol.

 

My exhuast is brand new! Its been on my car maybe a week and I just crashed it Wensday. If insurance decides to total it, I will sell the complete catback system for $480 plus shipping. With the stock, hollowed out cat.

 

I just purchased a '93 Del Sol and Im thinking of putting this exhaust on my car, I have an HKS exhaust on another ride I own, LOVE the tone of that one, Im looking for deep and louder when Im stepping down on it, but quieter when im at low throttle, any ideas how this will compare to HKS?

 

SKUNK2 kicks *** bro. Doesnt get all raspy and it stays nice and deep. Even on top end when you wide open.

 

some people say this exhaust is LOUD, but can you compare the loudness of this exhaust to other n1 catbacks? when i think of LOUD i refer to the tanabe rm. I personally heard the tanabe rm and that shiet is LOUD, which one would you say is louder the tanabe racing medallion or the skunk2 or do they have about the same decibal levels
