Help with the B20 Swap, Very Discouraged~!
Ok, so i get alomst (axles, more on this in a min) everthing hooked up and then I go to pressurize the fuel system and fuel goes everywhere. I try to tighten down the bolts on the FPR which is a B&M one that I bought from someone with the regulator attached. Of course, one bolt breaks. I have an LS fuel rail that I can use on my B20, but I, going to get the bolt tapped out tonight on the one that I broke since the LS one has a fitting for a FPG, it'll spew fuel everywhere. I can't get the FPR to seal up, anyone have any idea why? Anyways, to my main issue. On Hasports site it says that you need to remove some metal O spacer from the hub. I cannot get it out. I tried and tried and said screw it. I got the pass. side axle in, no prob but the drivers side is a different story, I can't get the LCA to go over the lower ball joint. It just wont. I think this is because I dont have the metal O ring removed. Could this be why it wont line up? Other then that, th swap has gone fairly smooth, accept that I also broke a bolt in my brand new SK2 IM an also broke an easy out in it. Its going to have to be machined out and re tapped. Im very discouraged, it doesnt seem like I'll ever get the B20 to run. I did fineally turn it over, Im getting fuel pressure, but not fuel to the Cylinders. I did a MPFI swap and I cant figure out where the power is for the resister.
TIA
heres the link where hasport says to remove it.

which intermediate shaft are you using and which cv axle? the metal ring on the back of the hub can be pried out with a prybar or big flathead screwdriver..
WoooooooooHoooooooo! I got it started, my CYP wiring was messed up, I was awsome when it started, I have an open header which made for some attention.
Now, to fix the axle prob....

Keep us updated Blaze. I am a bit confused on the whole DPFI-MPFI thing. Can't you just use the complete wiring harness from an LS to go MPFI, rather than using the modifying the DX harness? We have pulled the motor from my friends 89 DX and he has the b20 but still needs a few things before the b20 goes in.

No, you can't use the LS harness because it won't plug in, nor will an Si one, I'm told. Easiest just to modify your harness for MPFI.

Well right now I used the DX harness. The DPFI-MPFI is confusing till you actually do it. I got C1 and C3 mixed up and it made it so that the car would not start. Its running now, like crap. code 14,3,7,4 Two or three of those will be fixed today tho.

3 and 4 are map. The way to fix that, isput a t fitting in the fuel pressure vacum line, and run it to the map sensor. The TB your using has the MAP on top right. Or are you using hte old map? Either way T it off to the fuel pressure regulator hose, that will eliminate them 2 codes.
Code for TPS. What TB are you using? Did you have to put a different tps on? If so its probably not lined up right whihc is why your throwing that code, or you forgot to switch the wires around for it doing the mpfi...
I dont have a TPS, its in the mail was well as the MAP. Im going to hook up the old MAP plug to the MAP ontop of the TB. I changed out the EACV, so well see how it idles when I start it again. The thing is I cant start it again till I get the clutch cable figured out. My dad wont let me b/c its open header right now. I need to make the clutch cable tighter, suggestions anyone? I cant get it into gear, even when I pull the lever all the way up..... BTW, I forgot to remove the dust ring on the axle and the LCA poped in, we shall see if I get any binding....
