Default Rotors

Aight well, i need new rotors, planned on getting them with my next check, do i need all 4? just the front 2? or should i just get them all resurfaced? the reason i'm doing new rotors is because my car shakes when i slow down, pretty sure it's the rotors, but anyway, if any of you guys have suggestions i'm more than willing to listen and very appreciative

If you car shakes when you slow down it could be an alignment problem and not a rotor problem, and if you have 2-5mm of pad on you pads then its not your rotors. rotors become warped when you have a metallic pad or you don't have any pads.

You just need to get your rotors turned.

Sorry, you used the term resurfaced. I guess its the same thing. They just turn them on this wheel thing and make the surface smooth so your car doesnt jump in braking.

I had my rotors "turned" when they started shaking the first time, not even a month later they started shaking again, I would suggest you get the front rotors on ebay. I got brembo blanks for $36 each + shipping. The shaking has not come back in 3 months.

You can get that price from me too if you're interested, we move lots of Brembo and even have a groupbuy going.

not entirely true,

if your brakes are HOT and you get the rotors wet you will warp the rotors.

i have heard mixed things about slotted rotors so I would do some research first.

i didn't hear anything bad about the brembo blanks, all good, i bought them and they are great.

well guys, i got my car inspected yesterday, and an oil change, i'm kinda pissed because he told me i needed new wiper blades, which i replaced last week, and he said everything else was fine but my timing belt and fuel filter, i guess he didnt notice the leak in my clutch line or the fact that my rotors are WARPED, i really think they are, because i dont need an alignment either, but it made me mad because i dont think he really "inspected" my car, i think i might take it to an actual brake place and see if they can check it out for free, thanks for all the input guys, and i have had the slotted rotors before and loved them, great performance, smooth stops
