warranty problem

Default warranty problem

Well i have a 98 itr with 23k miles and i was washing the car today and a piece of paint came out of the bumper.
I took it to the dealer to ask for the paint warranty and they said 6 years....so i asked them to look at the bumper and they said it had been painted because the paint looked fresh ?! wtf? the car never sleeps in the street and its imaculate.
Then they said an object had hit the bumper and did that but there is no mark in that area,I know i have some little hits from rocks but really small and the paint doesnt come out in those hits during the wash....so what should i do? Im really pissed that honda dealers allways try to avoid covering warranty

I didn't know Honda dealers had paint warranties

seems like a very hard area to get anything done.

Wear items are not covered under warranty.

Take it to a bodyshop if it really bothers you.

It's not Honda's fault.

I never knew about this supposed 6 year warranty, but good luck getting that taken care of anywhere. Just take it to a bodyshop and get that panel repainted

Damn, that sucks. Talk to a Manager at the dealer and see what he says
Is it just me, or do the stock/Honda paint jobs suck?
