Default Touch up paint help needed!!!

Long story short, I burned through my paint while buffing Is this possible to fix with touch up paint? I really don't want to respray the entire bumper.

Or would it be possible just to respray that part of the bumper, and clear coat it again?

Man that really sucks. The problem you will have with touch up paint is that the defect you have created isn't below the surface. T/u paint will stick up and you will have a visible line between where your bumper ends and touch up paint begins. It really shouldn't look that bad, though. Those are fairly small spots near a body line, so you will probably be the only one who notices, providing you do a good touch up job with an exact color match. Good luck.

i bet you next time u use your buffer..you'll be alot more cautious.

do you have a speed setting on that thing? there should be. put it at a low setting and dont stay in one spot too long, and also try and keep the pad flat as well too.

sorry for not reply to the touch up paint portion though.

mask some tape around the area and spray paint it and wet sand it down a little to get it smooth..not the best idea but it'll help a little
