same ******* here. I thought I was going crazy at first, but it doesn't fail, evertime I get in I had to adjust it forward a little.
As far as the ***** keep turning, you probably broke them. Look at the ****, there is a circle cover in the middle, pop that off and see if any of the rest of the **** is broke. If both of your ***** turn and nothing happens, its not too likely you broke both ***** so something else might be wrong.
I also noticed that my seat backs seem a little loose on the botoms and it actually clicks when I take hard turns.
The seats I have are the USDM black with red stitching that I got from On Track in the group buy. I'm going to shoot him an email.

I have about 11k miles on my SRD's and I swapped them twice already for a nice even wear. I rarely have passengers in my GSR especially the fact that my wife don't like riding in there. Either her car or the SUV.

So true. My wife hates riding in my car. Even trips of less then 1 mile she is complaining the whole way.
rotating sounds like a good idea. I guess I am going to start doing that.

When I received my recaros, one of my ***** was broke. I called Mark at On-Track performance and he sent me one immediately, free of charge.
I would contact whoever you bought the seats from if it was an authorized dealer.
You could also contact Recaro USA directly, or try any one of their many dealers nationwide.
Mark at On Track Performance can be reached at sales@recaro-seats.com

Those ***** will break if you adjust them will giving pressure like leaning against the back while trying to adjust it forward. I had one break on me but crazy glue was a quick fix and still intact so far.

i was going to use super glue but wasnt sure if that would work, so what i did was just take a wrench and just torqued it to the position that i like and then i just put the ***** back on... so it was a quick fix for the meantime but im gonna order a new set of *****, just kinda makes me mad that they broke after a week, i dont care if i use them carelessly they should be able to last more then a god damn week, and i think they were only adjusted twice, RECARO
what a joke
i should of just gotten the brides

They could have been damaged during shipping. thats how mine was broke. If you bought them from an authorized dealer then they should replace them no questions asked.
Where did you buy your seats from? have you tried contacting them?

that is exactly how mine looked.
I actually have an extra ****, but I am hanging on to it for a rainy day.
If you are in a bind, why dont you just take a **** from your other seat. Once my doors are closed, I can only use the inside ***** anyway.
