cooling fan temperator switch???
has any one had any problems with there cooling fan not working all the time? i have a 95 ex 1.6 and when it is hotter out side and after i am crusing on the freeway and i get offand hit a light the engine will get hot it takes a few minutes to get hot, but it never gets hot enought to over heat by the time i get moving again the fan will not be on i will start to drive again and it will cool down i hit another light and it wont heat up again because the fan will actualy kick on. but it seems like every time that i try to check it the fan will come on and i cant get it to heat up to check the resistance on the sensor. so my ? is is it posible that the sensor will work sometimes or could it be the fan?
has any one had any other problems like this? i know there is not air in the system i check it regulary never had to open it up for some reason (other than the cap to che check it), and i did do a search but did not come up with anything like this.

I have replaced the thermo switch on my SI when it was doing the same thing -
Check it by disconnecting your cooling fan and applying 12 volts to the electric contacts - if the fans works it's your thermo switch.
