For those w/ alternators, how are your cutoff switches wired and fused?
Just curious, I don't want to use the main starter wire since they don't from the factory, but I don't want to run three lengths of wire from the front to the back. I'm thinking go from the alternator to the battery, then through the switch, to the starter, then a fuse from there then to the rest of the system. what do you other guys do?
thanks,
Jared

Does anyone run a cutoff switch with an alternator? I'm assuming some of you do.

Yes, my turbo car is a street car. I know how to kill the car with the kill switch with two lengths of cable from the front to the back, but I want to fuse each one, but I need to do this without fusing the starter.
Certain road race companies, make kill switches that are 2 pole, for main battery, and altenator. We just ran he altenator, and the main battery wire to the back, and ran the switch, so that it would interupt power to the battery and altenator, other wise the car will stay running. Jason
