Are the ITR gears and syncros the same as the Si (or Cdn SiR..B16a..)?? My 3-4 is grinding and I can get dealer prices from Honda..but not acura.
as we all know, in japan..the integra type r is a honda integra type r...
since the gears are the same ratio's in the si and the type r tranny..
and most, if not all (except the ring gear to my knowledge) b series tranny parts
are interchangeable...i'm assuming that the type r and Si gears and synchros
are exactly the same.
especially since manufacturers do this to save money.
(i.e. the new sentra v spec uses the same 6 spd tranny that the maxima does)
i do not know for a fact however.
