Default 7.5x17's on an ITR?

Before anyone says anything.. I know for handling 15's are best
Thats why I have a set of 7x15's on my ITR

I'd just like to know if 7.5x17's would fit without rubbing? assuming the right offset?

I have been offered a set of Enkei Split rims at a price I cant refuse.

Just wondering if they'd fit my R just for cruising

Otherwise I can sell them to the 5th Gen guys

Hi Ian mate - your the IanP from Hondarevolutions?

Im just wondering if the 7.5" width will be a problem? I think you were running 7x17 Super leggeras?

If your car isn't dropped like hooptie, then that rims size should work, with the correct offset, and 215-40-17 tires. I've seen lots of R's with 7.5X18 with 215-35-18's that didn't rub.

17x7.5 K1's were on my R when I bought it, along with 205/40/17's and there were no rubbing issues, that was with stock susp.

Friend of mine from clubsi.com, Silock had 17x7.5 Volk TE37's and 215/40/17's .. lowered around 2.5 inches on a 2000 ITR.
No rubbing and handled awesome, i personally drove it.
You might wanna find out the offset of the te37's and make sure that is what the enkie's have.
Good luck.
