help- people with first gen. jdm b16 engines come in please
i was wondering if anyone knows, on a first gen. jdm b16 engine, when you pop the hood, there is a metal tube thing facing you on top of the throttle body. does anyone know where the rubber hosing is supposed to be conected to? someone told me the pcv valve and said it was under the intake manifold. i couldnt find it and dont know what it looks like.
currently that metal tube on top of the tb is stuck with a nail with a little hole to allow air in
please help, thanks

if it is on the top kinda kicking towards the firewall, it goes to the charcoal canister. if i remember correctly.
its on top of the intake manifold, and if u were to take the hose off, the hole on the tube thingy would be facing you as you pop the hood. where the heck is the pcv valve, there is another hose on the intake manifold connected to something between like the 1 and 2 runners where it almost meets the engine. someone told me i need to connect it to a pcv valve UNDER the manifold, but i cant find it argh!!!!!
hmm, if another one fo the hoses already goes to the pcv valve, then where does the tube on top of the IM connect to?
its got someting to do with the idle, the more air i let in that hole, the higher it idles
thanks

yes perfect, but now guess what, im missing a buncha **** on my TB.
that space shuttle thing in the first pic, i dont have those.
the one u t'ed off, im guessing u got turbo and thats the for the boost gauge, if the other end of the hose is connected to the hole in the back of the TB, then that part of mine is connected correctly.
my original question was to find out the top hole, now i see it is connected to the bottom ufo thing, i still dont know what the top one is connected to.
i dotn want you running back and forth yet, i really appreciate the help, let me at least take some pics of my engine and post them up, ill try to do that asap. thanks

i think i figured out how it all works now, i was looking at the helms book picture also.
the top tube goes to the bottom ufo, which is then connected to the top ufo, which is connected to the intake tube. correct? this is kind of weird tho, because i thought the breather hole on the crank case was connected to the intake pipe.
according to the helms book, the tubes u t-ed off from that yellow thing to the back of the engine, there should be something in between that called the "pressure regulator cut off solenoid valve". my hose is connected straight from the yellow thing to the back , without going to that regulator valve thing, looks like yours is like that too. wonder what it will do if connected like the helms book.
