12.4@114 ... first time out
this weekend I ran a 12.4@114 on 8psi
this was the first real event for my car and as you can see my slicks were rather small and were giving me 2.0s 60foot times. I hope to do some more tuning at higher boost levels and with the proper shoes my car will see the 11's
i did not qualify for my quick 8 class... however i am proud of the fact that i was the only non civic or CRX in the top top 15.... me coming in at number 11....

i did not weigh the car...but i should have b/c it was free.... yes more than happy with hondata. doug rules. all i did was take out the rear seat and carpet b/s.... i think the rear bumper support will be coming out for next race
how can someone run a 12.4 on 8psi, when in the new SCC, a gsr with with 28psi only ran a 12.2 best time, can someone clarify
I do think that the SCC GSR had a huge turbo that totally killed low end power.. but still that is 20psi more boost....... and i'm sure he knew how to drive also,,
Is 12's possible on a ITR Turbo with 8psi with slicks, Damn can't wait to get my freakin turbo on,, best i could do on my SC was 13.4 at that was with street tires.

thank you.. keep in mind compression is a big deal. i am running 9.8:1 where as that GSR may have been running as low as 8.0:1 also... who in the hell runs a 12.2 with 490hp??? you should be in the 10's with that kinda power. Also, i worked this time down all day. I went 12.9,12.8,12.7,12.6,12.6 and finally 12.4 once it started getting a little cooler

thanks karl. heh... only problem is..nothing smaller than a 15" wheel will fit on my R b/c of the brake size. I think I am doing a GSR brake conversion within the next couple weeks which should help me out a bit.

Bro ask someone what CFM is and you will understand how he can run his times at 8 psi and how someone else can run 20 psi and run the same thing.

114 mph, thats such a fast trap speed... i cant believe with only 290hp u got a 114 mph trap, and it would be even higher on street tires.. maybe 116... your car must be killer on the highway, i cant even imagine..
