is this reliable and cost-effective?
the infamous CR-Vtec... mating he CRV block to the ITR head... worth it? costs? BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY... is it reliable? and what kind of gains to expect here?
sure its worth it, if you have the money go for it...just find a reliable shop that can do it. it's your call...not sure how much gains you get though. I think Schanx did it but with an ITR head and GSR bottom end and i think yeah ls is doing something like that..
sure reliable as in = honda reliable? or sure reliable as in = reliable for a race car?
my main thing is that it's street driven every day... anywhere from 30-80 miles a day
because i've heard of many stories going wrong with the common ls-vtec motor... nonetheless the CR-Vtec motor...
but i also heard stories of how this setup is almost equivalent to a turbo...
