My door locks on my 94 lx gives a 2 sec buzz when unlocking door with my keyless entry alarm or unlocking doors with the unlock button. the sound is only coming from the driver door, none of the 3 other doors make the buzzz.. is this the actuator dying???

It's the actuator making the noise. It may work for a long time like that.

 

mine does the same ****. is it the actuator for sure? cuz thats ***** like $63 =\

 

Yes it is and it will not die. I've had it doing this for at least 3 years, and when I got rid of the car it was still doing it.

 

any way to get rid of the noise?? should i take off the door panel and check??

 

You'll have to replace the actuator to get rid of the noise.

 

Dam this **** just started on my 97 accord too. But only when it locks. Is it hard to replace the actuator? I took the door off to see where the buzzing was coming from and it looks like a PITA to replace. Is this common on accords?

 

same happened to my 96 accord... just go to some sound or alarm place and ask them to replace the door lock actuator... costs no more than 40-50 bucks depending where you go. it is something you can fix but for that price, just let someone else do it
