Default Adjust toe at the track? Alignment question.

I have a full laser alignment machine. I know most guys run a compromise alignment for the street/track, but since I have an alignment machine can't I just set the car for a complete auto-x race alignment, remember the actual number of turns to do so, then set it back to stock specs. Once I get to the event I could then just crawl under the car, adjust the toe, and go race. Before I leave I'd just crawl back under it again to set it back for a safe street setting. Of course this is with a measure of crudness and as soon as I got back I would realign the car with the machine.

I think you pretty much answered you own question. If ya have the means to do your own alignments then why not. You could always double check it when you got home. right?

I've found I get the most even tire wear with no adjustment to the toe.

BTW I adjust my settings before each lapping day, its amazing how just a little adjustment in camber can affect the car's handling.
