ITR brake booster/master cylinder for GSR. compatible?
I own a 94 GSR. my master brake cylinder gave way. brakes feel mushy and I need to pump the brake to acutally stop and not loose pressure.
I bought a 2000 ITR master brake cylinder but it doesn't mate with the GSR brake booster. should I buy the brake booster too? does everything fit if I get that peice?
has anyone done this swap before? have the ITR 5 lug conversion done already, will by brakes preform better? I I would like the hear from the people that have done this if they ran into any compications. thanks!

so... WILL THE ITR BOOSTER AND MASTER CYLINDER FIT IN A 94 GSR CHASSIS??
I am aware I will need to flare the fittings and make lines, thats no issue, but will the focker fit in the car with no fitment issues?
bump, thanks.

no it will not perform better. GSR and ITR master cylinder are the same size.. they are 1" master cylinders. LS/RS integra master cylinders are 15/16" master cylinders, slightly smaller, but makes a slight noticeable difference. Since your gsr is already 1", just buy a gsr master cylinder meant for your car, so you dont have to waste money to buy a brake booster.
already bought the master cylinder for 25$ off a recked 2000 ITR. dude will sell me his ITR brake booster for dirt cheap as well. which is why I'm interested in this swap. save money and hopefully, a good upgrade.
still nothing on ITR booster+cylinder compatibility with a 94 GSR frame?

yes... its compatible.. but you have to swap the brake booster with it.. since the mounting bolts.. are roughly 90 degrees off. Not too sure about the brake lines, if they differ, you just need to bend it and flare it accordingly. Just don't expect a difference in brake feel, since there won't be none cause it's pretty much the same master cylinder.
thanks Ming, I'll be buying the booster on monday and installing this monday night. I'll post if I run into any other trouble than the flaring.
BTW, anyone got a booster install for dumies webpage hidding anywhere?

You should sell that one and just get the proper one. That one will not bolt up unless you spend more on the ITR booster (all 98+ ABS integras including ITR share the same mc booster as well as the booster from the first gen CRV). The lines on that don't match yours and its much more hassle then selling it and getting the correct one. Especially for that same exact 1" MC that just looks different.

Actually, NO They are not. Please dont just throw up random comments if you don't know what you are talking about. The lines DO NOT match up on 98+ and pre 98. I wasn't just blowing hot air out of my *** on my last post.

hondaintegraLS is right, ITR master cylinder does NOT match up to the GSR brake booster. I have these peices right infront of me.
I'm still iffy about all this swap, but I figured that I'll do it an learn. in the worse case, I'll sell the ITR booster and master cylinder for a GSR cylinder if my install plan doesn't go through.
