Default Type-R to WRX-STI

Ok, I do have a Type-R, and I have just ordered a 2004 wrx-sti. I have a question for those here...

Does anyone know what the bolt pattern is for the subaru? I would really appreciate some help here... been all over the net and cannot find any technical info on it...

Thanks.

Type R wheels on an STI? hehe...I'd love to see that.

You must have some wheels already.

Yup. And where the suby is going to see most of its duty life, I don't think the Bridgestones will hold up all that well, for all that long.

5x100

Not sure on the offset, but it's high just like an ITR.

Good luck on the STi. I want one so bad, but I just can't afford it.

WRX offset is 48mm and the reason the STi is 53mm is b/c of those big *** brembos these cars ROCK.

Are you keeping the ITR or going to sell it?

I have seen my first STi here in Toronto.... it looks a tad bit strange with that massive hood scope, however, from the front and rear it looks mean. It could stand a 1.5 inch drop.... However, I am starting to like this car more and more and my R less and less...

As for the price, thats what I dont like - 46,000 plus tax.... however, its much less then some of its competition - such as the new M3... 300 hp on tap stock.... great potential....

However, if I had a choice between the STi or the EVO 8.... the EVO 8 would be in my driveway....

Well they are both great cars anyway. Both of them got that "racing spirit", handles/performs great in bone-stock form.

To be honest with you, and even though this post is kind of off-topic, I would much rather drive a Type-R than a STi. Although the STi is a sweet 300HP car, had the versatility of four doors and topped off with a turbo, all-around the Type-R ***IN MY OPINION*** is nicer. Especially the CDM CW Type-R w/ the red seats. Sweetttttttttttttttttttt. Can't wait 'til I'm done university to buy one. Maybe then insurance and theft rates will lower.
