Can anyone tell me the difference in interiors, besides RHD, between US ITRs and Japanese ITRs? How are the seats different?

 

JDM's come with either red, black, or yellow Recaro's....A titanium finish shift ****, no arm rest, aluminum race pedals, Momo leather steering wheel, a type r badge under the e-brake (98 spec and up -no serials for 98 specs...) floor mats are optional along with everything else.

Something to add...

The rear seats in the JDM Type R don't have that damn "plastic middle" piece that our USDMs have.

head unit = radio....

it's made by a company called "Gather" or something like that

 

Also yellow needles on the gauges, stiffer rear upper control arms on 98s and up, different tailights, the whole front end, 98-01 have HID.

Gathers = Alpine Japan

 

Don't forget door panels and the floor mats are different plus the clock cover blank.

 

96 spec JDM ITRs also have 4x100mm bolt patterns, while the 97+ became what is now the norm, 5x114.3mm or 5x4.5in.

edit* 96 also were 15" enkei wheels, while the 97+ are all 16".

97 integs have no rear winshield wiper and optional aircon...is the rumour true that the body of the 97 are from the rs?

Close, the 96 spec bolt pattern is 4 x 114.3.

Also they didn't come with stereos, ABS or airbags.

yes, the jdm itr's don't have the arm rest on the center console

The arm rest (lack of) is so that the RECAROS don't rub.

What about the titanium colored hand brake button? Does this exist on the JDM models or is this one of those myths?

 

you all forgot to mention the carbon-fiber trim (fake), which includes the center console where it says "integra" in front of the shift boot.

 

What's the price difference between the Integra Type R and Type Rx in Japan
