Exhaust Install Question
I know the Civics and Integras are on the same platform so a lot of the parts are near the same, except for smoe minor diferences depending on the trim levels...
The Civic Si's are pretty comparable to the GSR... so here's my question:
What is the big difference between the exhaust locations on the two cars... civic Si and GSR coupe... I figured the lenth would be different, i think the GSR being a bit longer... but otherwise would the bends be different... So to make a Civic exhaust fit on a GSR you'd just have a small piece of piping welded onto your exhaust to make it longer...
So you ask why do I want a Civic exhaust on my GSR... well I can't find any real twin loop exhausts besides the Mugen one for Integras and the DC sports on for Civics... I'm really not looking to spend almost 1000 for an exhaust when I can get and exhaust and headers and cam gears or something else for the same price...
So does anyone know what modification is needed to bolt on a Civic Si exhaust to a GSR?

your right, the bends are basically the same. The length is what really matters. The hangers on the b pipe will need to be hung first, and then adjust the length for the flange. Then the second to last 90 degree bend before the gas tank will need to cut adjusted to fit in alotted spot. Your best bet would be to take it to a muffler shop ahem..(Meineke Discount Muffler) and have them do the cut and weld. To much work without the right tools and equipment. Not to mention welding under the car that is supported with a wheel jack
