Just wondering what the longest time is that someone has been running the (unaltered) f-max kit on their perlude. H23 or H22, built block or stock, doesn't matter. Would like to know how long without problems? If you had problems what kind were they?

I didn't post in FI because I don't care about the b series motor.

Not sure if I should turbo my lude again or not. I have the money to build the motor but don't want to keep sinking more and more into it.

15k on stock internals?? how many lbs of boost is he running? any loss of compression?

 

Mine was put on approx. November of 01' and it has ran great with stock internals. I had it up to 11psi (with the two additional 440cc injectors)and now run 9psi (without the additional injectors). Overboosted once (Approx. 20+ psi; vaccum hose to ext. wastegate melted and could not regulate). Now the motor blew to running too lean (installed an Apex-i VAFC and turned down the fuel; turned it down too much and detonation). In the process of rebuilding aftermarket internals and some other mods. Neither of those problems were due to the kit. Lessoned learned: Tuning is the key!
