Default valve adjustment

i need a valve adjustment but don't have the feeler gauges. where can i buy some and how much?

does anyone in so cal have a set i could borrow? i'll take you to lunch or something like that. let me know. thanks

Pep boys or similar store will have them, just make sure you see what ranges they go to before you buy them.

Go to an AutoZone or the like and get the master feeler guage set; is has a wide range of feelers and costs like $5

Yah, they're not hard to find. If an auto parts store fails you, try a good hardware store. I think my set was around $5.
