nobody asked for your newbie *** opinion either.
Many think they are identical, I had reason to believe they weren't and the question was answered earlier in the post.

if appearnce wise, for the most part yes they are identical, if quality is the question then no obvouisly, but why not just go to spoons web site and look and then to look at rotas site. it will tell you more info there dont you think?
Ok on the 16" wheels.
Rotas still have the ovals cut out in between the lug holes, whereas on the Spoons they are solid in that area minus the lugholes...make sense?
The actual finish is different. Rotas flat black is more of a semi-gloss black. Spoons are so flat they appear to be an ash grey color at times.
On both sizes, I have noticed that the Rotas seem to have more of a curvature to them where the spokes meet the lip, whereas the Spoons appear to have more of a straightness to them. I know that's kinda hard to understand what that means, as I am actually having trouble putting into words what I am describing.
If you look at this wheel(mine, slipstream) you will see what I mean. On the 16" Spoons the ovals are filled. And look at how the spoke meets the lip. See how round it is, now I'm not 100% sure, but I think the Spoons have less curve there where it meets teh lip.

I totally know what you are saying.....I always thought they were identical, but I noticed a slight difference in both, and was wondering if it was just me, or if that is really how it is.
