Default cheap lighting mods?? UPDATE: NEW PICS OF BRAKES MOD

hello everyone, i was wondering if you guys knew some good looking lighting mods that i could do to my civic that arent very expensive to do... something with some cathode tubes and some switches also does anyonw happen to know what volts a 92 civic DX's brake lights run at? also does anyone know just some cheap all around mods that you can do... for example my friend has a lancer and he took the LANCER emblems off his trunk and stuck them on his dash, looks really clean. also here is a pic of my dome light @ night, these are the kinda mods i was lookin at to do.

i couldnt find any bulbs that were actually red so i went to wal mart and got me a 1.50$ sharpie... hell it works just as good.

ok i found some for the dome light, but i was thinkin bout other ligthing things i could do... i just hooked up to cathode tubes up to my brake lights and i mounted them ont he rear headrests, ill show pics tonight when its dark outside....

anyne else have some ideas??

Change the color of your dash lights to amber/red....you can find a writeup on how to do it somewhere on here...it's very easy.

yeah that was gonna be the third step in project red, was to change the A/C lights and the gauges (thats prolly 4th) ill take a look around and see what i can find.

actually if u want a nice red you should by a can of testors transparent red in a spray can and spray the actual cover. It will look a lot nicer and not so pink/orange

see i was thinkin bout that also, but then it would be hard to get the same color ont he ac unit lights, cause it doesnt have that plastic cover over everything.

my lil brother did the same thing with his cavalier...

he took the badges off the back and put them on the dash...it looks really clean

i dont like it, it doesnt look bad thought, but it looks so dark. i prefer to be able to see things when i turn my interior light on.

the only civic emblems i have seen are all one peace, anyone know were you can get a stock emblem but each letter is one peice?

thats the only downfall, but it looks to killer, to me, to change it back

Nah man, i did that to mine way bad...too hot and burn through the paint, which then turn the blub brown.

psh im not a practicle person and i have a flash light in the glove box if i actually need to look for something.
