Default Cam plate torque specs

Ok, i no longer own a helms so i need this for cams install.

i need the cam plate torque specs for a GSR

7.2 ft. lbs. --> for the 10mm bolts

according to haynes its...
camshaft holer bolt torque specs:
b18c1
6mm bolts - 86 in-lbs
8mm bolts 20 ft lbs

If it does, then there's your problem right there........buy a real manual.
Besides...what's the difference between 7.2 ft. lbs. and 86 in. lbs. anyway? Isn't it approximately the same; he knows there are only two sizes of bolts that holds the damn cam plates down....and one is approx. 7ft. lbs. and the bigger bolt is 20ft lbs.

i usually tq the 12mm to 20ft lb
and 10mm to 10ft lb

see i have a chilton
and here is the problem
there are no 6 or 8 mm bolts. it says that same ****.

so i ask HT

The heads are 10mm and 12mm, but the bolt size is measured by the shaft size, not the head size. My Helms shows all hardware as shaft size x thread pitch, like 6 x 1.25.

The helms manual torque specs are too high.

Do 18lbs on the 12mm bolts.
