If the siren works when you hold the lock/unlock button down but it does not chirp when you lock or unlock the car with that same button , what can the problem be? and no it's not on the silent mode, i believe silent mode only works when you hit button 2 then button 1 correct?
any input would be appreciated !!!

You may have diasabled it by accident. I have a Viper 300 and one time I disabled it by accident with the remote and I could'nt figure out what happend. Im not sure how yours works but with mine if you push the right combination of remote buttons it will disable itself. Mine doesnt have panic so I dont know if that would be disabled as well. I would check your owners book if you have one. Does your LED still blink?

 

what he said, you turned your alarm into keyless entry only. I used to install the systems, I'll look tomorrow if I think about it at some of the manuals I got and see if I can help you out. Your best bet is to read the manual on how to enable and disable alarm to use as only keyless entry, because your siren obviously works.
