Viper Help!!! please!! do not want car stolen!
well i have a viper alarm on my car. not sure which model but the remote model is 479v/p/x
my alarm works good but the problem is that when the alarm does go off, my remote does not beep nor vibrate.
any 1 know how to make the remote beep/vibrate when the alarm goes off?
i really do not want my car stolen and there have been quite a few stolen
cars around the area.
Thanks in advance

First read the stickies above, MAke sure that you have a dei 520t and your install up to par. Second make sure the remote is not on slient mode. Try reprograming the remote to the car again and see if that clears up your problem. Or go into the remote program mode and turn off remote sleep mode.

Arm the car, wait 10 sec and unplug the battery. If the alarm does not go off or contunes to go off you do not have a back up battery.
To turn the page notifcation back on. Press the small button on the back of the remote and hold it till the remote beeps. If you do not have the small button on the back hold down all 4 buttons till it beeps. When it beeps press the star button or the button under the lock button-I forgot which one it is on your remote. Does not matter the icon its all the same. And this will turn on the icon. You can also press the lock button to as it will turn on the amber back light if you do not all ready have it on. Let the remote exot out of the program mode by not touching it for 10 sec. It will give a long beep. And you should be all good.

the star button is orange and it is under the unlock button on the right side.
and on the left side is the lock button. under that is the "AUX" button
EDIT: tried this and it still does not notify me if my car alarm went off.
i held the P button(on the back of the remote) and it beeped. i pushed the * button and let it alone for a few sec. and it beeped twice.
i went outside and kicked my wheel. the alarm went off but the remote stayed quiet.
but when i push the unlock button, then my remote beeps. but its doesnt beep when the alarm is going off
