Default Best Cat-Back Exhaust in Quality??

I am looking into getting an exhaust for my ls, looking for the most well made exhaust out there, not the ebay fake *** tubes, or the ones that would fall off and leak after a couple of years. I am looking for OEM quality or better. I hear n-1 is awsome in quality. Any other advices?

You're going to get many biased opinions here which are all true.. My DC sports exhaust did get a little tarnished over the winter but I washed and polished it last week and it is back to looking like new. The quality and fit is excellent, as well as the sound. Deep tone on the quiet side at low and high rpms. As for the N1, sounds too weed-wackerish for me and the style is pretty played out, no offense to any n1 owners, they are good exhausts just too loud for my flavor.

Actually, the A'PEXi N1 really isn't so much of a high quality exhaust. Many people have the innards of A'PEXi exhausts rust out of the exhaust in the long run.

Comptech, Hytech, Mugen, Custom, all good choices.

My vote is for Comptech. Not only is the quality top notch but, the sound is really nice. Get alot of compliments on it all the time. Only problem is it's only 2.25. Not a big deal if you only plan on going i/h/e

Only problem with Comptech is that sometimes their B-pipe resonators fail and you get a rattling and/or buzzing sound from the exhaust. I was a victim of this. Not really a problem, though, because its covered under warranty and they'll replace it without a hassle!

forget all that shiznit. . .go with a magnaflow straight through (not canister) with a regular pipe tip (not chrome 4 inch tip) and go low pro with a nice sound. .

i got piping and muffler for only 150 bucks and i'm happy. .

Yea I agree with Acronym Tanabe is a good good pick. I think sounds amazing, and others would agree. Sounds tight, deep, no farty or blatty sounds. Performance wise I'm not sure.

RS*R. The old one. Quiet, quiet, quiet. Excellent fit and finish.

I bet that few have anything bad to say about this exhaust...

i've had the greddy evo and apex'i world sport so far. the craftsmanship on the greddy evo was by far better than the apexi world sport, although i'm using the world sport right now because it is very quiet. if you have money and don't mind the sound, greddy evo is quite possibly one of the best exhausts out there

Tanabe quality is awesome. All their stuff is 100% stainless Steel, I've had mine for 6 months, all I need to do for a shine is wipe off any dirt, and unlike the stock exhaust it wont be 90% rust after 2 years.

The Hyper Medallion is nice and quiet
The Super Racing Medallion is loud as hell without the silencer

just depends what you are into
