My car dirties up like a pos ... help me out
I just washed her a few days ago and shes filthy. I just dont kno what to do anymore (the fact that i live near a forest sux too). Is there any car product out there that I can spray on my car and wipe away that crap?
Here's what I do... I bought some Meguiar's (
) Carnuba Wax and waxed the whole car by applying it with a sponge applicator, and remove it with a terry cloth... Then I went back through after removing all the wax and wiped the body down with Meguiar's Quick Mist Detail Spray and a clean terry cloth... (It's in a burgany color spray bottle)... Then after the wax has been applied, and there is a light amont of dust on the surface of the paint, you simply wipe the car down the Quik Mist Detail Spray and the wax will keep the dirt and dust from scratching the paint or clear coat... Works awsome for me...
I wish I could post pix of my car and it's paint, but it's in really good condition... And the body has 143,XXX miles on it...

Wax will not protect your paint from scratches or swirls in the clearcoat.
If the dust has any moisture absorbed into it, you are still scratching the car even if you use QD.
If your problem is dust, there are a few products out there that have an anti-static effect. Klasse is one of them.
Carnuaba waxes are thick in oils, which tend to attract and cling on to dust much more than acrylic polymers like klasse.
