Default what's a good FPR?

i'm lloking for a good adjustable fuel pressure regulator and am having no luck. i called B&M but they said they don't make h22 stuff so i looked at AEM. they have'em BUT the FPR will only fit the AEM fuel rail....that's another $120. i've found other brands like MSD ($50) and HKS ($180) but i've never heard of anyone using these. any help guys?

B&M will work.

I am using a B&M FPR for my H22 and works very well.

yes, you'll need to modify your factory FPR and put the B&M top part on.

It's very simple and works well.

Get a Aeromotive FPR. Its less than the AEM piece, looks just as sexy and it can be fully adjusted unlike the B&M unit.. That mean you can turn down or turn up your Fuel Pressure..

Waddup Paul. What is the new ride for the season now. I know you are a man that changes cars often so its hard for me to keep updated.. hehe I will most likely head over to RPM this saturday to get a bracket for my MSD. If you around the town let me know, I would love to see your ride now..

can you explain this further?

because I can adjust my pressure both up and down on my B&M.

Plus there's a very good gauge/FPR deal going on in the best buys for a great price for B&M

Unlike the Aeromotive/Paxxton/ and AEM brands the B&M is not a true 1:1 ratio Fuel regulator...

well does it really matter if you can adjust it up/down a great deal and have a gauge to see where the pressure is at?

Yeah because with the others the 1:1 ratio is if you adjust one point up or down your fuel pressure is adjusted one point up or down. I dont even know what the ratio of the B&M is. Not nearly as acurate.. Again this is what I have been told by many and I have read it numerous times as well. How much truth there is in it I cannot indefinately verify..

I guess I still don't see why any ratio matters. What I'm saying is it doesn't matter whatsoever what ratio the FPR adjusts at as long as you've got a gauge to view.

The gauge will tell you exactly what's going on. I know the B&M will adjust pretty dang far because when i first started my motor i was at 17psi. I also know the B&M is pretty tuneable because I've gone through slowly and I can even hit like every 1/4 PSI or whatever.

How can you adjust a 'point' on an FPR? Do you mean every turn? Or what? I really don't see how any of it is relevant.

I'm wondering the exact same thing.

I can understand the ratio you speak of, but in tuning the fuel pressure with tuning on something like Hondata or a V-AFC, it shouldn't really matter or be hard to tune the A/F ratios.
