from the statement kinda expensive u seem like u dont want to spend alot of money, cheapest would be OEM JDM header, or the DC SPORTS JDM HEADER is what i would recommend, pick up a universal muffler like the ES OVAL, Apexi N1, 5zigen, and go to a custom muffler shop and have them peice it together for u, thats your best bet. 2.25 or 2.5

_______[/QUOTwell i can save you some money because you only need one header not headers lol. J/K I couldn't resist. Look into the N1 setup. My roomate is buying the axle back N1 and having a muffler shop fabricate the rest to save a little money

As far as your header goes. JDM Honda Type-R with 2.5in collector is the best piece for the money. Dont let DC fans or anyone fool you. It not just about horsepower but construction and you can lose with Honda. As for your exhaust, I would say a 5Zigen Border or Miracle w/2.5 piping would be your best bet for the money. A CarSound cat or just straight 2.5in TesPipe from TestPipe.com would be better than stock and you cant go wrong with either. Just to let you know, for the amount of money you will spend on all this exhaust material you could by yourself a set of Type-R cams and get more horsepower. Actually the cams and their installation would be less than just the exhaust material without installation. Exhausts are nice but at the same time a GSR outlet is already nice and the new exhaust setup will only give you minimal power gains while attracting maximum police attention. Think about it. I say stay GSR exhaust and go Type-R cams. Then later on get you Type-R header and work from there. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

Why not just get an Apexi N1 exhaust and do custom piping. I think I saw them sell the exhaust alone w/ no piping. Then for headers, since you sound like you are on a budget. Go with what the others said.
so your dropping in cams. you want to free it up a bit? use that money and have your head pulled and fully built (Type-R, titanium retainers, full P&P) for around $900 to $1,150. That will give you alot more HP. Im sorry but exhausts are very over rated if you ask me. work out your internals first. thats just my .02
did the head... so what exahust is everyone runnin thats tellin me there overrated and not to wast my money.... r u runnin stock exhaust?
I have a Si with a Civic Type R, fully built head and I run stock exhaust. I keep the attention away. Thats how I like it. But in the end its up to you.
