What are you guys thoughts on these lights?
Its a protective film that is applied over the lights to protect them from rocks and debris and looks cool as hell. What are your thoughts?

Its a friends car that just had this done. ITs called Lamin-x and he ordered it from http://www.lamin-x.com

just looks kinda blue...on all the lights....

They have a blue tint to them and the film changes the optics of the light to make them white like an HID with out a bulb change. Untill you try it you would not really understand the effect of the change.
It runs about $35 to do your lights with turns. Not bad when you think each light cost $400 per side. Great protection with an added bonus. they do not have precut kits out for Honda's yet but they just teamed up with RPI Racing and they will soon be carrying it for all Honda's.

So the conclusion is you paint your hood so you aren't trying to impress anyone? I don't feel like wasting money to paint my cf hood. Completely unneccesary unless you don't like the look in which case you are painting it for looks. The white car is nice anyways and I like the coating on the lights, it looks really good with white.

I don't think painting one is a good or bad idea, but going on about how cf is for function and then claiming people should spend money to paint them for better looks doesn't make any sense to me.

I agree. But to each their own. I liked the look of my Integra when I had my white hood still on it because it was solid but my cf hood has a nice glossy coat and goes well too. It is just about preference.
