Are ITR red recaros worth the swap for a 16inch sw388 no tires? Fair? Unfair? Some guys interested with my wheels and his asking me to add some lil cash for hes seats. Both are in good condition. what do u think?

If you're talking about the whole set.. well... its up to you. A straight-up swap would work.. but I see the rims just as equally valuable as the seats..

just trade straight across, or no deal. sounds like he's the one that really wants something here, and you are just mildly interested.

 

depends on the conditions of the wheels ? if everything is good good EVEN TRADE no need to add money.

What's the condition of his seats? i think the sw388 is worth 1400 if good without tires.

I want the seats badly too. thats the hard part. Those seats doesn't really come around that much here in our country. Its usually those SRDs thats being played or (no offense) mostly Sparcos

SW388s are everywhere here though. Thats my only consololation with the trade. I don't find anything nice about the rims now. Its just the value im concern. Im pushing on with the trade.

As for my rims, they're in top shape... with a few marks from tire change and all.

 

Those SW388s are about $450 a wheel (retail/new). I doubt those seats are worth $1800 a pair or $900 a seat... or are they?

I got kids here offering me big money for my black with red stitching ITR Recaro's Of course, i'm not selling them

 

keep the seats, buy some rotas, and get some SPOOM stickers

 

i'm in a predicament, 16" volk ce28n's, or a set of buddy clubs + 2 jdm dc2 itr seats in black.... same price.

 

Wheels are so expensive.

With slipstreams everywhere...id rather save up for a rim thats got less fake copycats rolling around. You can't go wrong with Recaros too. I think their just as pimp and ergo for some hard driving.

But then again, Im just concern with the value. Thanks for the inputs.


Forgot to mention that, these seats are gonna be on my tintless, Berlina black h22accord on 18s.

tough choice, I say don't go for the sawp, it sounds cool but you're left without wheels. Beside you can pick up a set of Sparco Torinos really cheap!

Heres the story. I drive a H22Accord, later on I had the money to get a 00Civic SIR( Si Sedan) I got it with the Sw388s already. Bought some rotas for the car and sold it at the price i wanted. So now the Spoons are left with me.

I technically got the rims for free. But like i said, i wanna sell it with value and all. But i guess im inlove with those red ITR seats too. hehe!

 

I would so keep the seats instead of getting those rims instead.........I just think that those rims are so damn played out and rotas look exactly like them therefore you wont look as pimp as those seats
