Yes you are right. I have a JDM Type R that I am putting into my 99 Civic Si. I want to use the JDM type R computer with it too. Any idea if that works? Where do I get a wiring diagram for the JDM computer?

yes, you can use the 97 ITR ecu in your 00 Si, but you'll need an OBD2b(99-00)-->(96-98)OBD2a ecu jumper. I have this jumper in stock if you're interested.
