Anyone using stepped sleeves of any kind? I was told that stepped sleeves can help make a good seal with the head. Any opnions?

 

A lot of guys in the forced induction forum are running the Golden Eagle stepped deck sleeve, which the automatically do. How large of a bore size are you looking at running? Another alternative is running a copper o-ring, which is what i personally do. It's all a matter of preference really, both ways help to make a better seal with the head.

 

how do each of those affect the head gasket?
