door lock broken... opps
ok so i locked my dumb self out of my car. not to worry, i did it a few weeks back and watched the triple a man open it and saw his tool. so i made one out of a coat hanger. 4 minutes later im in my car again
. bad part is now the door wont lock. the button moves but even int he lock position its not locked. should i take it apart? or is it something more easy.

Do you have a pick tool? I use that all the time and never use the "proper" door handle remover.

i've always just used a screw driver & never had trouble, just pull the handle out some & look down between the handle & the door & you should see the clip. hth
